Bottecchia bikes good or bad?

Pretty much as the title - discovered them at a reasonably local bike shop today but not heard of them before, cant find any reviews and not many places stocking them, they look good with a lot of own branded bits -

looked at the bottecchia duello road bike.

as far as i understand, throughout history many frames were badged as Bottecchia but there was never a Bottecchia factory so to speak. Bottecchia was an italian cyclist in the 30s i think and colnago have in the past made "Bottecchia" frames. unfortunately there is no way a bicycle can be made in europe with that spec for that price these days....I am 99% sure that they are now sourced in the far east and branded Bottecchia in much the same way. I would say they are no better or no worse than anything else at the same price.

this is a good and honest account of the cycle manufacturing world as was a few years ago but little has changed
