Tour/Giro route rumours

I don't know if anyone has heard news of the Tour route announcements? I've heard a rumour that they may be using Alpe d'Huez for a time trial stage in the Tour next year and interestingly the Giro organisers are looking at using Alpe d'Huez for a stage finish also next year.

cant see it myself as it wont favour any of the purist TT brigade or the climbers and there has to be something in the race for all.
if convention is anything to go by, we should be going clockwise round france in 2012 so the final week will be in the pyrannees not the alps and i just cant see a ITT up alpe d'huez at the end of the second week.... also given the new double points for summit finishs in the KoM competition, i cant see why they would waste a stage like the alpe d'huez for a TT rather than KoM.
As much as i like the organsiers shaking things up, thats taking it a bit too far...
