Open Cyling Sportives

Not sure if these are new for 2011 but seem to be arranged by a company called Open Adventure.

Thinking about signing up for the Dunstable one next week, but wondering if any one has any expereince
of last years events? or any Open Adenture events?

bike shops must be rubbing their hands at the moment, all these new sportives to drum up business. never heard of them but i'm sure they will be well managed from the look of it, has a bit of a maily orientated look to it using NT bproperties as a base but NT are desperate for new revenue streams at the moment. doesnt mention costs until you sign up though... could be tempted but none near me and my cakes/miles ratio for the summer is already finely balanced...

Costs :: £20 for 25 mile ride / £28 for 50 and 100 mile rides. There will be an additional £5 entry on the day fee cash only.
