I have a Ribble winter audax. Tis a lovely lovely bike. lively and agile without being tiring. Staff were very helpful with sizing advice after going through measurements etc, the only thing I didn't like was the wait time for it to be built.
Keep those wheels greased. I have the same bike, my front hub has just self-destructed. The seals are non-existent.Parrot of Doom said:

Pro-lite Como. Trust me, the hubs are very, very cheap.
Glad I stuck with the ITM wheels, they did say I could have some money back and have the bike sooner if I went down to the Pro Lites. Didnt fancy forking £350 for the upgrade so Ill have to wait, Any pics of the intense yet?okgo said:
Don't sit too close to the edge you may get a sore bum from waiting.
If something is out of stock then I think the customer service is f
king terrible.
I have a new sportive and while the bike is fine I don't know if I'd buy another from them
Me too - although, I think I would buy another from them. The price is too unbeatable. If something is out of stock then I think the customer service is f

If you must have something asap then just get an 'off the shelf' Trek, Specialized etc from stock at your LBS.
I preferred to wait for the exact component spec, gear ratios, stem & bar dimensions I wanted which along with performance & value is one of the reasons they're so popular with club racers who often order them between seasons anyway.
I would spec alternative wheels to Prolites though simply because (like Xeros) the bearings seem to need replacing more frequently than some others.

No problems with my Gran Fondo. They explained that I'd have to wait an extra few weeks for the chainset I wanted or I could have an alternative spec sooner.

I went with the ITM Aero's - 200g lighter for less than 30 quid more, easy decision really! If you must have something asap then just get an 'off the shelf' Trek, Specialized etc from stock at your LBS.

The customer service is bad, there's no debating that. I have an email chain from them (as the phone is always engaged) that reads like an ongoing joke. I told them in no uncertain terms that understaffing was not my problem, they need to answer questions and be transparent regardless. They clearly need about 3 more staff but that would errode the margin no doubt.
Those ITM wheels are ok, still heavy and crap compared to even entry level wheels from mavic etc. I sold mine after one ride. Along with the woeful tyres.
The rest is great though!

you should be spending at least as much on wheels as you do on food for a year if you're serious
absolutely with you on their staffing, they don't even have a proper phone system ffs! Normally takes between 8-15 attempts to get through...
