How do you stand on buying a second hand bike and still keeping the warranty? I'm just about to buy a second hand Scott(who I know have a fantasic warranty service) the bike has all paperwork and proof of purchase and is still in warranty period.
But... if you have the original proof of purchase... Well let's jsut say I wasn't asked for ID when I had a new set of Fox 36's on warranty (but I was the original owner).
warranty is for original owner only. Having said that some companies are better than others, i've heard of specialized doing warranty on second hand stuff, but they're very good with that sort of thing.
