GoPro video from Swinley Forest at the weekend.

Getting to grips with the GoPro now although my iMovie editing is a little rudimentary still!

Thought the music quite apt given the recent forest fires!

Cool little video.
Love the deerstalker/labyrinth combination there. Great fun.
As an aside, with imovie and the GoPro combination the same as myself does it not really annoy you how transferring the video footage into imovie degrades the quality a bit?
Like this short run from Tunnel Hill over near Frimley.

When i watch the raw footage through Aperture the quality is stunning but put it through imovie and it just loses a bit of video quality. I'm thinking it must be going from 60fps to 30fps in imovie because watching 1080p 30fps from my Dslr the footage is superb in aperture and imovie!
Really annoying when you want to edit GoPro and SLR footage in imovie but the GoPro just ruins it slightly!!

Don't know that section on your vid but looks like great fun! You don't seem to get the same annoying 'click' I get from my GoPro - have you done anything to get rid of that or I have just got a duffer!?

The gopro i borrowed before i bought one had the click too but don't get it with this one! Think it might be the way i attach it to the chest mount now. I have the gopro mounted upside down to get the right viewing angle so it's not tight up against the chestplate which i think causes the clicking when over the bumps!
Just uploaded another vid, this time from Aston Hill. Sadly a fingerprint appeared on the lens after we stopped cameramen which got in the way of a quite impressive off by a mate!!

First time I've been to Aston and I couldn't believe how steep and technical it was at times. Bloody tiring pushing back up too!

The first run in the video is DH3 and the "fingerprint crash!" run was on DH4 which as you say is pretty steep in places!I try to get to Aston Hill once a month if i can,in fact we are doing some filming there this Saturday and apart from the push up it's great!
Did you try the Black run? Now that's steep!!!
