Bargain Cervelo RS?
Discussion
I'm not sure if I'm allowed to do this so, if not, I apologise and mods please remove.
This is NOT mine but has just come up for sale on a website that I run. It's a heads up for anyone on here looking for a decent bike. Sadly I can't afford it as they don't come much better than this:
Brand new, unridden Cervelo RS with full Dura-Ace and 3T kit. £3,600 - about £1,400 under what it would cost from a shop. For sale due to injury.
See the advert here.

I'm sure they will, but they won't supply the components at the same prices as you could find by shopping around on the internet. You'd be paying their RRP for the components or spending your own time sourcing them, getting them shipped, storing them and transporting them to the LBS.
I see what you are saying but, as I said, a lot of people won't do it that way. They will go into a bike shop and pay £1800 for the frameset, £1500 for the groupset, £700 for the wheelset and another £1000 for sundries and the build.
Against that it looks cheap to me. Obviously not to you, and fair enough but as I say, I'm just bringing it to people's attention. If people think it's not cheap they won't buy it. I think it is cheap but can't afford it.

I don't think I can recall a time when I've heard of a bike shop turning down "mechanic time" where a customer supplies some (or all) of the parts themselves.
Likewise I have never heard of a local garage do the same with car parts (main dealers excluded - but even they will use customer supplied OEM parts supplied for servicing ) .....

The warranty issue would give me stress on a s/h carbon bike
I have looked at a few and none had the potential to transfer it to my name despite what the vendors said
So I bought a new one - but not a Cervelo though!
Although the bike I did buy came to my attention after Cervelo settled a court case for copying

(And at a lot less cost too than a s/h fancy make)
