The usual Wednesday evening photo from the top of the hill. The Roller Coaster sign has been missing for a few weeks now - no idea what happened to it.

Late one yesterday afternoon/night. Left home at lunchtime, planning to do 60k. Decided to extend that and ended up doing 101.01 miles. Blitzed now...

Ouch... I've got motos on one of my bikes. Not eeb though.

I'll have to check mine just in case.

Shame as I really like them, bar the poor bearing seals.

That's really annoying!! Was it on a landing/casing or just out of metal fatigue? Warranty?

I just stick to DT Swiss personaly. Very bland, boring and not particularly optimised for performance but I just know it works and is quite reliable.

No, only a little, most of it was closed (the section past the two large wooden berm things called Vali's Hell) but i wouldnt have ridden it anyway, was really sketchy in the wet no wonder the WC riders were falling off.

This is the 2nd WC place I've ridden (Maribor being the other) and I dont mind admitting it's above what I'm really capable of, I can pick my way down that sort of stuff but not at any decent speed and I dont really find it fun as I can't make that stuff flow well for me.

Hangman was good fun. Hot shots was mostly too much for me. Didn't bother with the trails as I didn't fancy pedaling the DH bike.

There is no shame in admitting it. The vast majority of decently skilled riders would probably not enjoy it that much either, particularly in the wet.

A bit like me playing a tennis match against a top 1,000 tennis player in the world. I would hate it despite being a decent tennis player competing locally, albeit not very successfully at the moment!

Cranking up a very steep off camber slope...in Tour mode, so fatigue I'm guessing.

Second hand purchase last year, so no warranty...will go Halo/DT/Hope this time around I think.
