Not sure if there is a specific thread for this, but I had 4 of my bikes nicked last Friday morning from PO8 postcode area.

So please keep your eyes peeled on your local groups for any of these, the Felt as far as i'm aware was never sold over here in that colour scheme.

Felt FR1 - Rotor 3d Crankset, Dura-Ace Di2 rear derailleur, Ultegra front mech, Ultegra Shifters, Ultegra front brake. Low Mass 50mm wheels with DT Swiss 350 Hubs, some rub to the drive side seat stay and around the bottom bracket drive side from chain drop.

Scott Spark RC Team - Rockshox Dropper Post - missing the headset plastic shroud.

Canyon Inflite CF SL - GRX Di2 Shifters, GRX Rear Mech, Quarq cranks 170mm and power meter.

Canyon Inflite CF SLX - Ultegra Di2 Shifters, GRX rear mech, Sram RED cranks 170mm, 130BCD - rare and Quarq power meter.

Gutted for you. That sucks.

Put a search trigger for the components on ebay that will notify you. You may see a trend.

Gutted for you.

I've shared to a couple of cycling groups I'm involved with, but we're 'up north so probably an offer in vain.

Hope you have stance insurance.

Good luck.

Thanks both, searches set up. Luckily insured, but will be keeping an eye out across multiple sites and locally.

I don't want to be flippant. It's a moody scenario.

But.

Within our group of bicycling people, it wouldn't be long before the links to new bikes started being pinged over!

Hope you reach a silver lining before long bud.

....as a crass and inappropriate side-bar, I'd be interested to hear about which insurer and how they perform in this circumstance.

I've set up an eBay search for the Felt - NW location might throw different results.

Again. Good luck.

I’d be absolutely gutted. I hope you get them back or your insurance play ball.

So sorry to hear that OP. They're some gorgeous bikes. Hope insurance isn't too much of a hassle. Maybe we should bring back the chopping off of hands for thieving scum.

Foooooook

Hope the insurance sorts you properly.

Issue with a theft like that, is that is a big payday. They’ll be back in a few months to try take the insurance replacements. They know expensive bikes will be there.

Take care & upgrade security if you replace them

That's something I'd struggle to deal with if it happened to me. You have my sympathy.
Also noticed today that Scott aka Ratarossa has had his bmx nicked as well

Cheers all, going through insurance, and security has already been beefed up in the interim on the window and will be locking hte bikes up in the garage going forward.

As you say they'll more than likely be back so will be doing everything I can to make sure they can't get them again. Hopefully the dog will be more useful next time as she just sat in the conservatory watching what was going on, after barking at the rain dropping on the windowsill the night before and the police the following morning biggrin

Appreciate the horse has bolted and all that but my two bikes (both worth about £8k each) have secreted about them Apple Air Tags…thieves will eventually find them but crucially I’ll know they’ve been moved within minutes and hopefully I’ll be giving some low life a jolly good talking-to within half an hour and pointing out the error of his ways.

I do the same on my classic cars…

I'll keep looking out.

Set your Facebook searches to 'bike' 'felt bike' - really basic descriptions.

Feel for you. Had 3 bike stolen from my garage in 2018. I still shudder when i remember going in there and seeing them gone.

So some words of encouragement... as long as you hold insurance (mine were on my house insurance)...then it should pay out no problem. As I had ádditional cover for extras. Mine also paid entirely for any extras/ie non-stock wheels etc. So i didnt end up out of pocket.

Co-Op insurance were great - i did need to pull out several receipts for proof of purchase etc which was a faff having to search through emails etc. , so worth getting ahead and finding receipts for all the stuff you might want to claim for.

Took about 3-4 weeks to pay out for me, which seemed a long time, but in hindsight was good. Worst thing was not being able to ride in that time until it was confirmed the claim was being settled.

One other thing to consider is beefing up security - i added some floor anchor points and big locks each bike. I always now remember to chain up after each ride just in case.

Claim submitted this afternoon, found receipts for pretty much everything as I just have a big folder in my email!

Regarding security, I have already blocked off the window, initially with some 4x2 but will be getting it blocked off properly in the coming months, and will be investing in some more anchors as ironically I got some a few years ago but have never installed them, but will be locking everything up.

I have sensors on the door for the wifi opener and have a camera which did set the soft alerts, but didn't wake me up as I was in a deep slumber.

Sorry to hear this. I think you're a mate of a mate on IG because I've seen those cross bikes on there too. Will keep a look out - I've never heard of those wheels before and they're distinctive with the hubs so I'd be setting up searches for them too! Fingers crossed the claim goes smoothly.

Possibly, did get a lot of shares from the CX and local cycling community, as above post I don't reckon i'll see them again, but you never know.

I'd stop keeping them in a garage as well.

Bikes are never safe in a garage.

Ontop of that post theft they know where to try again.
