This is just a call to all you South Africans out there. Any of you have any interesting stories to tell share. I would like to see if there is any interest in doing a get together for South African members of Piston Heads, perhaps a day at Zwartkops, Wesbank, or the likes. A place where we can get together in a safe environment and just have fun with our cars. A way to show off our pride and joy, have a , and talk motors for bit. No , no traps, just fun.

Hi Jan

From a look at the membership list (filtered by country) there are 64 SA PHers.

They may not have noticed the new section at the bottom of the page. Maybe some e-mails to let them know it's there ?

Good luck with getting a SA PH Day going

It think half the population on the North Shore of Auckland is South African

Go the All Blacks

Glad to see we still have some visitors here. A bit on the cold side in SA at the moment, and mostly so in Cape Town. I visit Strand on a regular basis, and was there over the weekend. Let me know next time you coming to Sa, and erhaps get together for a beer or 2.

Howzit man... Good to hear from a fellow South African PH'er.

great, so now we have a total of 4 ppl so far. Need more, need more ..... It only becomes viable from a cost perspective if we have between 10 an 15 ppl. Patience is required. I have emailed all that South Africans on PH, and hoping for a reasonable response.

No pics of your Porsche on your profile. Sounds like quite a monster you have there. I'm sure we'd all love to see some pics of it / her / him.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but not being bilingual, how do you guys just change language mid-sentence?? Surely the first few times for a couple of seconds, you're totally confused! I liked the sound of Afrikaans, by the way. Like a cool mix of German and Dutch, but didn't sound as nasty as either! Or maybe that was the accent...

Yes, but expensive!

Especially if you buy the authentic imported stuff.
