Cape Town for NYE
Discussion
Are you looking for entertainment or just food?
If it's food then I would recommend Haiku,

Great food and good atmosphere well it was when we went there a few years back.
There are lots of good restaurants around the V&A (Victoria & Albert Hotel) harbour area, have eaten in the Den Anchor a few times

if you go there and are a beer drinker then order a Quack, but be prepared to have to part with a shoe as they fold it in a basket above the bar as a deposit on the glass & it's holder.
HTH
Anymore questions just shout and I'll try and assist.

Sorry for the delay Al, long story short, Emirates Airlines have fked us about and we won't make it for NYE.
Now planning on April for the OH's 30th.
We would have had to be in Stellenbosch for the actual New Year, Cape Town was literally fully booked hotel wise, I'm not staying in a hostel!
Cheers for the advice though
