Edit... Not 1991, probably more like 1993... Sorry... Bottom Photo is 1991...
And, there appears to be 2 sets of photos mixed up together, one event slightly later (with the Viper)

Dug these out and scanned them in. They are from the De Tomaso Owners Club Trackday in the Spring of 1993. For those who know Goodwood Circuit today, you'll see how much it's developed in 20 years.

And from 1991

The days before the EOMAK reopened / restored the track. It just shows how much effort was put i to get it back to a reasonable state for the Revival etc.

Great Pictures thumbup

Amazing change to the circuit - hardly recognisable. I just love Goodwood - such and air about the place.

Wow, amazing to see Skylines on there. I thought people in Britain never heard of them until Gran Turismo came out!

...and that Skyline would have been almost new. Ditto the 328, and some of those Porsches

Also interesting to see the everyday cars in the carpark. Oh, isnt there a Vectra in the background of the Corvette?? that image cant be 1991

Must be my age, I'm getting confused just looking, I think there are two sets of photos there, as my car is parked in two different locations...confused

In this photo it’s the white Audi by the airfield fence.

And in this it’s in what is now the Paddock area.

Sorry, I’ve got two events there…

Interesting... I might just have a photo of that too, ISTR having a photo or two of a yellow 968 at Goodwood around that era... Did you take it out on track by chance? Seem to recall watching one in action there.

What was amazing was seeing the speed they carried around Goodwood, and they were also very quiet...

I can still picture the De Tomaso's coming out of the Chicane and being overtaken with consummate ease by a big Jap saloon... Pretty much everything was slower. ISTR the Burgundy R32 was quicker than the black one too.

Amazing shots - nicely capturing a bygone age; and yet so recently. Thanks for going to the effort of sharing them.

It's a 'well known' TVR Number and I too have been racking my brain cell to place it, Almost certainly and early PistonHeaders car I think - too early for my days in the TVRCC

Moss in the BRP Lotus. 1962, and I'd guess it didn't end well.
