You will need to book on all of these, Trents is the best for food, but if you want something extra special, The Crab and Lobster is a great seafood restaurant owned by the same person, but is a good £15 taxi ride each way - Well worth it though.

Re: Trents

Somebody should tell them to sort the website out

Menu and directions links are way too hidden way, should be good and prominent

Cassons, just outside of Chichester in Tangmere is also very nice and well worth the taxi ride.

Crab and Lobster in Sidlesham is a couple of miles the other side of Chichester, but the 'right' side as fas as traffic goes. Its a gastro-pub with rooms, food is simply excellent.

The Earl Of March in Lavant is good. Trents is busy even on a quiet night.

Best to book in advance in any pub/restaurant as Chichester isn't that big & several thousand petrolheads descending on it clogs things up.

My usual pub in town is the Fountain on South Street, bit quieter with good beer.

If all else fails, Portsmouth isn't that far away & has an abundance of night life, just someone has to drive.
