Yeah, as you have probably guessed by my username, I'll be there in a white MK5 Golf GTI.

lol! Yeah you're right. I hadn't even noticed the date in the topic title as I knew it was March anyway!

Nice one for posting though - I hope someone doesn't turn up there this Sunday expecting a show!!!

There is a marshall when you go in Luke, he will direct you either to the exhibitors section, or the hearded municipal in the main car park.

SS7 looking at your car profile how the hell do you get 32mpg out of yours!! I am lucky to get mid to high 20's!

Some pics here (before I had the suspension sorted) http://thecarlistblog.blogspot.com/2008/10/dubbin....

32mpg is pretty easy on an A road run, even when using the power for passing, the best i've had is 35. However on short runs around town i get, like you, 20-25 :-)

I'll be there (weather permitting) in my Nova trackday car, should hopefully class as 'hot' smile

Just a general remark but the theme isn't actually 'Hot Hatch' but ‘Mini Mayhem – for all Small Sporting Runabouts’ celebrating everything from the original Mini to the archetypal hot hatch and modern Supermini, plus RV sporting light aircraft. Hopefully there will be some real Minis and other small cars there as well as the plethora of Hot Hatches.

Well said RichB. It's always good to see nice metal at the breakfast club, but I think modified golfs etc would be more appropriate for "souped up Sunday" than "Mini mayhem"

Hope to be going to this with my daughter. She's doing Goodwood AND the classic mini for her GCSE art project. So hopefully get some good pic's.

Regarding transport, stupid question really but does it matter what car you turn up in if you just intend on parking in the regular car parking??

Does exotica still turn up even if it's not the theme??

Excuse the questions but haven't been to one of the BC meets yet.

I'll be in a Corsa SXi smile (probably)

Cheers
FG

No... just park up and wander round.

Hard to say but given that it's March and the first one of the year I'd say less likely...

Will depend on the weather, there was quite a bit out last weekend & if good weather is forecast for this weekend there may well be a few. Good weather early in the year is combined with quiet roads so an excuse for a spirited drive & with few car related events on it limits peoples choice of where to go for a spin
