Am looking to see if I can buy my folks some tickets for the revival but not sure I can afford the weekend tickets. What's the "best" day to go to see most of the kit?

My Mum's not a huge car fan so if there's a day that offers some racing maybe with some variety (BoB flypast etc?) that'd be good to know

Thanks in advance

Friday ...... the crowds are relatively small, so you can see the track action from just behind the fences and not from behind a six deep row of hats at the weekend. The queues for food/drink are also manageable on the Friday.

On Friday you should see ALL the competing cars out on track for practice/qually but NO racing,
if you go Saturday or Sunday there are some races that only happen on one of those two days
so if there's something specific you want to see on track you might miss it.

BoB flypast occurs on both Sat & Sun.

Saturday is now classed as "ladies day" to encourage even further the dressing up bit I guess.

I would suggest Sat is the best compromise day - some full racing and some qualifying for Sunday so you should see most of the best exotica. Friday is least busy day.

This year the 50's were represented in the touring cars, next year it will be the 60's turn.

Agreed , whatever day you choose make sure you're there early , enjoy every little moment as its gone too soon , I went Sunday , the weather is a big factor , we were blessed this year as it rained for most of the Summer but the weather Gods smiled on us , one last thing...please NO T Shirt and jeans , you will be the one feeling like the odd one out !;)

We took my in-laws this year, mother-in-law not that keen on cars, and went on Sunday. They both had a ball and got into the spirit by dressing up (a must). I would suggest either Saturday or Sunday as that's when you get the aircraft as well as the cars.

Fab day out next time we plan to go for the whole weekend.
