Hi everyone

It's my birthday Friday and myself and the wife are looking for somewhere to go in the Caterham, I have seen that this event is on at the Goodwood racetrack, anyone know what it is?

Cheers
Mike

After a quick google, it looks like it's Horse racing at the track up the road from the circuit.

Hope this helps!!

I tried google too, and came up with horse racing, however it is under the diary of events for the racing circuit on the motorsport part of the site.. Strange.

Sent and email to Goodwood to try and clarify.

Hi Mike,
BGC are one of our sponsors. As part of their package, they get some track time. Not sure if it's a 'bring your own' or if it's one of Mithril's days with their selection of cars.. It could also be one of our Prodrive days (Astons etc).. Not entirely sure but it's definitely nothing to do with the Horseracing.

Have a great day if you come down!

Hi jgoodwood

So it's OK for me to turn up in the Caterham with the wife and watch the action on track?

Will there be the catering van on site too?

Thanks, look forward to Friday!!

You could always bring your flying goggles, leather helmet and white scarf and join the fly-boys in the Aero Cafe for a spot of lunch. Food in there isn't too bad at all, and all the staff are friendly and polite. Shame the Vitra Cafe isn't open as that's right by the track

Just make sure you go to the Motor Circuit, not the Horse Galloping Circuit! Drive through the gates, straight under the tunnel, turn left and you'll see the paddock a few hundred yards on the left. Park in there and the Aero Cafe is a short walk further on - the portakabins just past the Bruce McLaren statue
