fos best viewing point

i've been going to the fos for about 10 years.i used to watch from opposite f1 pit entrance but now from in front of house.where are your favorite spots.

I'm finding it worse and worse each year as the crowds grow, and if you don't have a grandstand seat (or corporate!) it's a real scrummage. Two places I favour are either the inside of the first bend, or right at the top just before they disappear into the trees and the prohibited area.

If you can be bothered, take a set of light alloy steps, the little ones, and you'll be able to get a much better view wherever you are!

Try to get near the front of the crowd, roughly in line with front door of Goodwood house when the F1 boys are on. That's where they usually do the most burnouts. Other reasonable places are in front of Paddock grandstand and by the track crossing point between Molecomb corner and The Wall.

just got tickets for the Molecomb grandstand for the weekend. on the higher tier so hopefully should get some decent views of the straight and corner.
