Does anyone know whether the Sunday Times are doing their usual free tickets for the Friday this year? ears

It was around the 8th June last year that they advertised the free tickets, if you are registered with Times online you should (maybe) get an email confirming the offer?wink
So only a few more days to wait until they (hopefully) are offered thumbup

I got the impression that they weren't going to be issuing free tickets

Yep, there was an FOS supplement yesterday, but no mention of free tickets at all, so I would take that to mean they won't be doing it this year. I guess the FOS is now so popular that they no longer need to give away thousands of free tickets... frown

And there was way too many young children last year and adults too over crowded

bds aren't wewink

TBH most children are at school on the Friday so I see very few there on the free tckt days, and that's regardless of the fact that young children (under 12) don't pay anyway on any day, so can't see how the free tckts make any effect on them.

this pretty much confirms there is no free tickets (at least for the time being) as explains about prices & days

dont know if this helps but the local paper down here in chichester is doing the free friday ticket when you buy sat or sun tkt. if anyone is interested i can send them a copy if you leave relivaent details.

I'm interested in that as will be buying (but have to yet to do so) a Saturday tckt anyway. Is there something you have to cut out and send in or just a code you can quote or even a weblink?

there is a cut out form.if you want one the paper is out tomorrow ican do it for you or you could try website. dont know addres but just google chichester observer.
