I am, cant wait either !! Like a kid in a sweet shop when im there, normally takes me and my mate about 2 hours to get through the car park to the actual display area !! Afterwards we sit on the roundabout up the road from Goodwood and take picture after picture of all the cars going home, think I snapped just shy of 400 on the last one. Where are you travelling from ? Im coming down from Tidworth with my wife on saturday and staying at a mates in Chichester

Hey Rob, with regards to arrival time, earlier is better in my opinion, ive turned up at 8:30 before and its been heaving, ill usually get up at 7 and be there for 7:30. Parking is fine too, if you get there earlier enough you will be directed right just throught he main gates and park up there but this fills up quickly, after that they use a field up the road which is ok, plenty of nice cars park in there too.

Any of us taking nice cars along ?? Im in my Passatt smoker barge !!

Secondary parking is usually ample and stewarded, but it is a field so not sure what sort of state it will be in on Sunday given that it is raining hard at the moment. Better bring the wife's 4x4!

I live near Guildford and there are a few cars leaving Guildford from the cathedral about 07:30 which I might join. Depends on the weather really, was going to come down in my Noble but if its raining will probably be in the BMW. Lets hope for a blue sky!

Just checked the weather and looks good (Sunny and 10c), I live about an hour along the coast and it is bright sunshine at the moment, so lets hope it's like this tomorrow.

No, no guarantee. It sounds to me like the local council is breathing down Lord March's neck re the congestion caused by his events so he is gathering stats in order to better prepare and plan events.
