Very priviledged to have been able to see Sir Stirling up close as it were, wishing a chap in our hospitality tent a happy 80th. Really decent of him to do that for someone. Top man.

Rauno Aaltonen drove really well on Saturday and it was a huge thrill for me to see one of my heroes driving a mini to perfection.

Andy drove our Mercury Comet Cyclone in the St Mary’s Trophy and put it on the front row the first time out in the car, superb driving. Sadly the alternator failed in the assembly area for the race, so he only managed a couple of laps with a bad misfire before being forced into the pits. The car finished 3rd in race 2 with Nick Whale behind the wheel, so Andy would have been on for a great result.

Great spot for all the action - although couldnt understand why the hospitality grandstand opposite was empty for most of the day!!! Did you get showered with mud? What a fantastic day - great racing and great atmosphere, up until now I have always favoured the Festival of Speed over the Revival but I think this year has changed my opinion.
