Hopefully yes, don't know and don't know ... HTH

There is a usually a meet up in Guildford by B&Q for a run down from there through Petworth etc. Usually leave there about 0730 I think but maybe later. If I go I will more than likely do that. Where abouts are you coming from?

I'll probably be going from Banstead via Dorking, A24, A272 to Petworth then A285; anyway that's how I go to FOS and Revival. Depends whether there's a convoy and on what route. I'm surprised not to have heard much discussion on it.

I plan to be there but it's not to far for me just a quick zap along the A27.

A mate of mine had a Trabant. Now I am not sure if i dreamt this or it is true but the bodyworks does go soft in the rain.

confused That can't be right can it? I must have dreamt it.

I think the body is made from a slightly more sophisticated version of Papier Mache but you would still expect to be able to take it out in the rain otherwise it would have been a complete non-starter as a car for the masses.

Steve

Edit............
It gets better. Just did a Wikipedia. "The duroplast was made of recycled material, cotton waste from Russia and phenol resins from the East German dye industry making the Trabant the first car with a body made of recycled material"
Unfortunately the brownie points for the recycled body are a bit offset by the pollution from the smoky two stroke.

There is indeed a brace of 7:30am convoys. One leaves Guildford's Ladymead Retail Park and the other leaves the junction of the A24/A272 with a rendezvous in Midhurst at 8:15. Anybody is welcome to join in.

wavey Hi Steve D Mrs derekg500 here AKA Gail! Remember me? You took me for a little run in your car . . . . sideways out of Goodwood which was most excellent fun - the best! I got into alot of trouble cos I put your car at the top of the 'most exciting' to date list! Derek's been trying to scare me senseless in the Tiv since! We'll be there on Sunday with a few of the TVR brigade - not too sure how many or what the route is yet but expect we'll take in Petworth - can't imagine missing Petworth!! Hope to catch up with you again

I might well turn up to the A24/A272 one of these; is that at the petrol station? Isn't there a
Maccy Ds there as well?

Will i get stoned for turning up in a Ricer?

That's the one.

Ricers are as welcome as anything else, though I'm sure neons, spinners and LED washer jets would earn a few tuts
