We’ve booked an RV for the revival (after many years of doing just one day), we couldn’t get a pitch with electric hook up and the girls are revolting about drying their hair!
Are there power points in the shower area?

I'm afraid not.

Consider a 12v - 2000w inverter - run it off your battery with the hairdryer on low - cost approximately £140 plus

Not cheap but it would save your weekend and make you the hero.

You can get 12v Hair Dryers. Maybe just keep the engine running whilst they are being used, if its for a considerable time.

Thanks, I mentioned 12v hairdryers which wasn’t greeted with much enthusiasm, the fairer sex are now investigating having their hair bouffanted on site by the hairdressing pros!

The OP did mention that this was for the ladies, so I think we know the answer.

If its anything like last year I'd be taking a portable Honda generator and a jerrycan of fuel smile

Just don’t do what I saw at the first revival (98) in the competitors campground. Guy walked from massive RV into the competitor loos/showers with 2 massive jars, pumped all the handwash and hand cream into them (Molton Brown!) into them and walked out, to the amazement of everyone else.

I was in a 2 man tent.

P.S. I know you won’t, but it still grates with me!

What’s the run time on a cordless leaf blower?
If it’s clean would you be able to return it after weekend?

Hire an inverter generator, not much money and run reasonably quietly

Last year there was a "dressing room" on our campsite that had power sockets, full length mirrors, good lighting etc etc. We were on Campsite E opposite the Lavant Straight.
