Good Morning!

This is Norbert writing from Germany. We are a group of three elder men visiting Goodwood Revival for the first time this year. We do have tickets for the weekend as well as a slot on Campground H for the Camper. Does anybody know if there is a shop or grocery store near the Campground to get fresh food, bread, drinks and things like that? NB - we should be very happy to receive additional notes and hints from experienced visitors...

Thanks and regards,

Norbert

Morning Norbert,

There are indeed quite a few grocery stores close to the circuit, mostly in the retail park to the SW:

Traffic around the main roundabout on the A27, at the bottom of the image, tends to be bad at the best of times and during Goodwood events can be absolutely horrendous. It also spills on to surrounding roads as you'd expect, so just be prepared for that biggrin

Hi Norbert,

We always use here. 5 minute drive from the campsite and has everything you need + fuel station if required..

Yes, bring your bike, Norbert. There's a Sainsbury supermarket about ten minutes ride from the main gate where you will get all you need. There's also a filling station there. But it's going to be warm over the weekend - His Grace, the Duke, always orders good weather and it's usually delivered - so a bike ride might be a touch sweaty. People are already arriving; a very nice little Dutch Alfa Romeo Giulia turned up at our local last night, four up. It looked lowered even without the passengers. Have a great weekend Norbert, and enjoy West Sussex.
