From what I read online they will only be refunding original purchasers.

I wonder how many resellers will be keeping the refund and refusing to correspond with their buyer?

Presumably, if you bought through Goodwood's official reseller Twickets you should get a refund. I don't know how that works though and I suspect you won't get Twickets' fees back.

Having just chased down a hospitality refund they cannot say when it will be made.
It's pretty poor the last communication cancelling Saturday was 'we will be in contact in the coming days' and 2 weeks later nothing has happened and no timeline being given to when people will get their refunds.
If I was dealing with Whizzair or Easyjet this would be expected, but it's a really poor show from Goodwood

Not heard anything about my refund either, but just had an email from Goodwood confirming my £99 purchase for the Richmond Enclosure for today at the Qatar Goodwood Festival... something I definitely haven't purchased!

Tried calling but no answer so have emailed for an explaination.

Anyone else?

I'm sure Goodwood are working through their lists, if the day had gone ahead, (rolled over my tickets), no one would be chasing for the money back, as it was already spent, so genuine question, why is there so much urgency to get it back quickly now?, its not like Goodwood are going to run off with the money.

Bit harsh, Goodwood have no previous on refunding on such a large scale, I would say your refund is 100% guaranteed so no worries.

Surely there is no issue (after only 2 weeks, reputable "company" and confirmation refunds will be paid) ..........or am I missing something

No urgency on my part, I'm sure the Duke is good for it hehe

Just intrigued as to why I have apparently purchased tickets for today's horse racing and wondered if this was a connected glitch.

The comment wasn't directed at any particular person smile , I've just seen quite a few people chasing on the GRRC Facebook page and elsewhere, must be a huge undertaking for them, I'm sure they had some experience from Covid refunds, but not on this scale.

No answer for the Horse Racing, but wow is it muddy on the roads around there, was in the area yesterday and the car looks like I took it off-roading !

I’ve no doubt Goodwood and the Duke are good for the money!
They’ve had several K since booking in November & obviously the day was cancelled. The slight issue I have is lack of expectation setting and no timeline of when the refund will happen.
I don’t think that’s unreasonable

I was fortunate in that the hospitality that we booked was on the Friday, we just had GA for the Saturday, we also booked it in November last year, so yes Goodwood have the money for a long period, however it seems that if you don't book it early these days some of the options sell out, normal for all the events as they are so popular.

Similar here, £336. I think I’ll just used it to fill the tank about three times…
