FoS 2024 (yes, 2024)
Discussion
It's a tradition here to get in early once the F1 calendar is announced...it's fair to say this one came sooner than expected...
15-16 June Le Mans
21-23 June Spain GP
28-30 June Austrian GP
05-07 July British GP
19-21 July Hungary GP
I'd say it's a nailed on certainty for 11-14th July 2024, obviously pending any changes in the F1 calendar as it's very early days. The hotel rooms will start disappearing very quickly.

WEC is 11-14 July in Brazil so whilst it’s the most likely date they might struggle with having the Le Mans winners there?
Probably, but they can't win them all and F1 is by far the biggest draw. The calendar is so congested around that time there will always be something fairly significant that isn't able to attend.Unless I'm missing something, I'm getting absolutely shafted by having rolled forward my Saturday ticket, but needing a ticket for all 4 days? The 3 remaining days alone cost more than a 4 day pass.
I may as well buy a 4 day pass (for £4 less than the 3 individual days) then sell a Saturday ticket on Twickets next year.

Been answered on Facebook. The GRRC benefits, e.g. Kinrara and free Thursday tickets, become available in the Autumn.
Another flaw in the system if you want to attend all 4 days, surely? Fri-Sun costs substantially more than a 4 day pass. It's cheaper to pay for it even if you're entitled to it for free.ch37 said:

Quoting myself but if like me you've done this, you need to phone the ticket office who thankfully can still get added back on to the refund spreadsheet manually, then you just go ahead and book the 4 day ticket online as usual.I may as well buy a 4 day pass (for £4 less than the 3 individual days) then sell a Saturday ticket on Twickets next year.

even though I'm signed in, I'm only offered a chargeable ticket for Thursday 24. it's been free until '23.
Because you haven’t yet renewed membership. I’ll call the office to confirm that free Thursday tickets will be available later in the year.
It has been confirmed on FB, by Sarah, that all GRRC products go on sale in the Autumn, usually November, I've rolled my single day Saturday over, bought Sunday tickets at the 2023 price with the 25% discount and will book FOC Thursday and something a bit nicer access wise for Friday when they become available.
Split the days between friends and family coming with you and you can get to see most things, and have time for the younger ones to enjoy all the kid focused activities.

This probably isn’t the correct place to ask but I’ve to FOS a couple times. Missed it this year but plan to go again next year.
Just wondering. In years gone by I’ve seen that some people get to do passenger rides up the hill. How does an unconnected person get a ride up the hill?
Is it something I have to book and pay for or is it literally just a who you know type situation?

You have to be special. Just wondering. In years gone by I’ve seen that some people get to do passenger rides up the hill. How does an unconnected person get a ride up the hill?
