Having given up my full membership some years back, and regretting it I've had fellowship membership and been on the waiting list for 4 years.

Back to full membership as of today.

Excellent start to a Tuesday.

Congratulations well done

Does anybody know how many members there are and what the churn rate is?

Interested to know how many members drop off the list each year if it takes 4 years to work up the waiting list

Not sure. What's positive is that they took my 4 years of fellowships subs off my full membership.

Still not sure I’ll join the GRRC when I’m invited, fourth year fellow now and I don’t really live close enough to make the most of the facilities GRRC offer. If the members enclosures are +1 then I could be tempted but as it’s just me access to grandstands and things aren’t that appealing

Not sure if I fully understand you comment about members' enclosures being +1 but as a member I get a small discount on entry and grandstand tickets and I can take a guest i.e. my wife, into all the GRRC facilities like the Members Marquee at the Revival and the equivalent at FoS.

I wasn’t aware the members enclosures were GRRC plus a guest, that would make more sense to me to upgrade from the fellowship. I haven’t seen that advertised, it just appears that it’s full members only.

As an example, I’m in the fellowship so I can get easy access to MM tickets as much as anything, if and when I get upgraded, there’s no point if one of the benefits would be having to sit somewhere away from my father who isn’t in the fellow GRRC

The comparison of membership benefits is here: Benefits comparison

"Members' enclosure access at Festival of Speed and Revival // GRRC ADULT MEMBER: Access for two people"

You also get 2 free Thursday FoS tickets and 2 Revival paddock passes.

Many thanks, looks like that’s answered the question. As dad gets older, it’s nice to be able to have somewhere nice to take him when he’s knackered!

Dear Pablo,
Our GRRC enclosures admit the member plus a guest, and any children under 12. I'm afraid the grandstands are ticketed per person, though. I hope that helps,
Sarah

A bit OT but I'm considering the MM next year rather than the Revival, and intend to join the Fellowship in order to obtain tickets. Do you have to be a member for a minimum period of time before you can buy MM tickets?

Not as far as I know, Fellowship goes active when you buy it, GRRC runs January to December for everyone

What actual member benefits do you make the most of (or get most benefit from)?

I thought fellowship allowed for people to do autosolos but can see it’s only members. I like the idea of doing a few next year but clearly that’s not an option if membership is needed and there’s a waiting list

What you get the most benefit from would depend on how close to Goodwood you are, this year I’ll do (or have done) the MM, Thursday at the FoS, several breakfast clubs, the Spring Sprint, a regional drive, used the Kennels and randomly gone to the circuit when I can.

Your paid Fellowship fees come off your first year or GRRC, so no reason not to join if you do want GRRC at some point.

Yes membership is needed to participate. Waiting list as above around 4 years.

I was a fellowship member for almost 3 years, present from the wife.
Goodwood emailed me for my 4th year membership fee but I never saw it as it went into the junk mail so they cancelled the membership.

When I found out I asked if I could pay the full amount and would they backdate the membership to the date it was cancelled but they refused.
So, I wasted 3 years as a Fellowship member because they have no flexibility and could see it was a genuine mistake.
The only way I could go the the MM was to join up again.furiousfuriousfurious
