Just got home. Parked in car park M (forward GRRC parking). No problems. Interestingly we were there from about 0845 to 1530 and it stayed dry all the time whereas 10 miles up the road it’s been very wet.
I guess you didn’t notice it was throwing it down at the event for an hour or so earlier on then?Just got back and conditions seemed ok, I parked in N or S I think (near the performance car parking). Got there just around 7am and although there was a little bit of mud just turning off the road towards the parking, the parking area itself was very stable if a little damp. It did throw it down at a couple of points, but the weather really improved, despite the dark clouds, it got really quite warm. Was fine leaving the car park, no issues at all. Think the next couple of days are looking dry, so all should be good.

Saturday isn’t looking good. However, the orange beaconed heros are on standby to drag anyone out, who gets stuck.

Going on Saturday, looks like a bit of a washout.Lets hope forecast is wrong.
I would love to think so, but my normally ultra reliable long range, and even my nearly as accurate phone forecast both agree that you’ll need flippers and a snorkel / outboard motor / canoe, on tomorrow and Sunday. The long range was forecasting very low pressures pretty much surrounding the U.K. weeks ago, and was tracking a storm in the bay of biscay a couple of days ago, which looks like it’s tracked straight over Sussex. It could be extremely larey as well, as it’s picked up a lot of energy en route.Gassing Station | Goodwood Events | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
