Just been looking for details of the upcoming breakfast club themes, it seems the next one isn't until November unless I'm missing something, can anyone in the know shed any light please?

November 3rd is 80's day by the way.

Yes ... start of October wouldn't give enough time for site to recover from Revival ... carparks etc... so November it is...

Not really true, the Revival is not any later this year than normal and there has been a Breakfast Club in October every year since the start, with the exception of 2008.

The Breakfast Clubs used to start in March but when the Members' Meetings began in 2014 they were reduced to 5 a year, with the first one in May and the last in November (with gaps in July and September due to FoS and Revival).

This year the MM had been pushed back to April so for the first time since 2013 we had a BC in March, "Estate Cars". I guess Goodwood wanted to stick to 5 a year so another one had to go and they removed the October one. It's a shame the number has been reduced, when it started there were 7 a year which rose to 10 in 2009 and 2010.

Yes, when I first started going it must have been at the height, as they seemed to be on all the time.

These days there are 'other' breakfast meets if you want more or a change.
Am soon to attend a dear little one where the bacon butties & coffee are free in return for a voluntary donation to support several charities. Now how civilised & non-self serving is that? There are other nearby places of interest as well so it will make a delightful morning or day out.
No I'm not saying where or when.

that's nice ... Goodwood is a company and wants to make a profit ... yet it doesn't charge for entry on Breakfast Clubs... how non self serving is that ?

I’d like goodwood to start charging to thin the crowds.
