Goodwood Revival - pop up bars etc
Discussion
Hello, first time poster, long time lurker etc,
Going to Goodwood Revival this year, will be meeting up with a few people and collectively we won't have been all together for about 15 years, So we will no doubt need to have a cleansing ale or two while we are there
We have roving grandstand tickets, never been before, anyone have any info on any pop up bars etc that will be near the racetrack?
The idea of sipping a Pale Ale while listening to a pack of 356's fly by is about as close to heaven as i'll ever get!
I've looked on the Goodwood site which covers all their full time hospitality venues but doesn't mention any thing else
Anyone go any info?
cheers

Not sure what you mean by pop-up.
There are the 'permanent' sheds at Madjwick and Lavant. Usually one along the Lavant Straight too.
Super Shell building (though may be GRRC only).
Lots of opportunity behind the start line grandstand too.
Most of what I would call pop-ups are selling Champagne.
Finding a drink won't be too hard.
Enjoy you first trip - it can get a bit 'samey' after going for many years, but that first few should be special.
PS. Maybe get the mods to move this to the Goodwood Events section.

The whole event is pop up!
Thie 2019 event map isn't up yet but you can download last year's here: https://www.goodwood.com/motorsport/goodwood-reviv...
As already mentioned, bars everywhere - take away the 6 hospitality venues and the rest are yours to choose from. If you want to watch the racing and drink then I'd suggest making your way out to Lavant Corner. When the racing's done, there are more bars "over the road"... the Birra Moretti looked spacious and lively last year.

The Shell Building is "Corporate" for the Revival, sadly off limits for GRRC members too. But as said, you will not be short of drinking opportunities at Goodwood! p.s. One thing that always puzzles me is do all these drinkers use public transport?
