FOS Camping - What's around?

First year camping at FOS, have previously stayed further away and driven in.

Other than the bus up to the Goodwood hotel in the evening are there pubs etc in fair walking distance to get a beer or food at? Don't mind a walk of 45mins or so.

45min walk will have you in the centre of Chichester.

For great beer you have hole in the wall and the hornet ale house.

For food:

La Fish is simple quick food (Cypriot chip shop) you can eat in or take out.
The old cottage Indian is good
lemongrass Thai is very nice.
Giggling squid more upmarket and would need to book.
Chichester festival theatre has a very nice restaurant that serves good value.

Just managed to get a pitch that’s not really a pitch at a site in Slindon. Bike from there to the fos. Never thought I would get a pitch this late on. Happy days.
