FOS Performance Parking

Does the performance parking have a separate entrance or do you get sent a different way once though the 'gate'?

Also, I see there are two car parks for this?

You follow the signs for performance parking once you get near the event same as you follow the signs to the usual car parks rather than following your satnav so you dont avoid any of the traffic.

Personally never parked in them as don't see the point in paying extra when its only saving you a few minutes walking. Also wouldn't fancy parking anything special in there as your essentially inviting people to lean/touch/walk past with bags and be general tourists around your car, where as in regular car park no will pay any attention and they all have good access and marshalls are on the ball to help if you get around ramps if you've a low car.

A mates ex mrs parked her financed to the sky / daddy gifted gtr in there just so she could say she had and to post it all over her instagram.

We rocked up in the beer bus vito tourer and parked 100m away from them in regular parking that cost us nothing, meaning more money for beer tokens on a night.

The access to the top so-called VIP park (which took all round the houses and forever to reach thanks to poor sign posting) is/was appalling last year. Also a dust covered Bugatti wasn't immune from message writers....

Anyone got a Performance Car park ticket fir Sunday?

I've used advance parking on various occasions and like it. But last year was a disaster as it was miles away and then Minis took you in - which lost the whole point !

I have booked performance parking East on Thursday as its right by start line and should be worth it again - i do understand concerns of people viewing etc but tbh that will happen wherever you park.

Didn't realise the locations were ticket specific. Will have to check mine when I get in.

Just remembered - I took a photo of the tickets when they arrived. Says Gate 4 - Performance Car Parking.

Any ideas which car park that is?

Just rang them, Gate 4 is the West entrance. Bit of a fail (although GF ordered the tickets) as i'm coming from Bexhill. Also, East entrance has now sold out for the Thursday, so I guess that's the one to have?

Anyway - looking forward to it. I know what to do for next year now
