Hi, I’m after some advice as it’s our groups first MM, what else is there in between races or things to do around the track?
Any recommendations will be appreciated.

Err..walk round the paddock and feast your eyes, while drinking a reassuringly expensive artisan coffee?

The Members Market (big barn with loads of light bulbs) will have plenty of highly priced food and drink and usually have bands playing intermittently - Good place to stand around and have a drink or two whilst watching the bands.

There are also games and activities dotted around, axe throwing, quizzes, sports day type stuff in the gymnasium behind the auction building - All good fun and you can supposedly win some points for your house. Other than that it's just wandering around looking at all the cars in the paddocks, the auction, the car park, the various displays around the site ... The Shell Building has a pub in it with Snooker and Darts and a nice view of the track if you're lucky enough to get a spot near the windows. Usually plenty to fill a couple of days with, especially if you haven't been before.

Another query - I was travelling down from N Yorkshire on Friday but because I now need to be in Woburn on Thursday Ill be travelling the much shorter distance from there . As I can get to Goodwood easily by late morning, is there testing ? Can I simply get in and wander around, as I did in the early years of the Revival?

And if not, is there anything interesting in automotive terms anyone might recommend between Woburn and Chichester ? Not Silverstone , as I've spent half my life there already .. Brooklands ?

Brooklands would work, just off the M25 and A3 junction so almost perfectly en-route. Highly recommended.

Another Vote for a stop at Brooklands and you can look around MB World as it is next door!
