FOS and beer...
Discussion
The FAQ says:
The safety and security of all visitors to the Festival of Speed is of utmost importance to us, and therefore we ask that you co-operate by not bringing any banned items onto the site with you. All bags will be searched on entrance and the following items will be removed:
• Knives (other than rounded cutlery knives)
• Sharp objects (including scissors)
• Excessive alcohol
• Banned substances
• Legal Highs
• Drones or remote controlled flying models of any sort
I guess you have to decide what counts as excessive!

Hmmmm, that beer is going to be nice and cool after sitting next to your belly for a few hours.
Note in the list it says "excessive" alcohol, not NO alcohol.
I've taken in chilled bitter in a thermos before which worked quite nicely, staying cool until midday when I drank it. Just a bit of a faff lugging the thermos about.
