FOS Saturday or Sunday

Gents, I'm about to buy tickets for Goodwood FOS (first car event for our toddler) and wanted to know thoughts on which is the best day to attend please?

No it isn't.

I was looking this morning and there's loads of tickets available if you don't mind paying a few pounds more for a package that includes a bit of food and drink or a grandstand seat etc.

The cheapest package is Startline Club at £250. I guess it's up to the individual to decide whether £181 constitutes "a few pounds more" but personally I'm considering Saturday as sold out.

That's the package I was looking at.

Salon Prive is £200 for the cheapest day, and thousands of people are happy to pay £95 for a 90 minute football match.

I don't think £250 is bad at all for a full day of Goodwood including food and drink plus a few extra perks.

Personally I’d find someone to look after your child for the day it’s been discussed numerous times but it’s a long day with lots of walking and very exposed to the elements.

Regarding Saturday or Sunday as has been mentioned Saturday is sold out unless you go for the pricey option. Sunday has the shootout but closes early.

I would agree to be honest.

It's very busy, very hot, very loud, you are walking amongst moving cars in the pits, and you will be standing and walking the entire day.

It's not really for children unless they are old enough to pretty manage a full day of the above without a problem.

It would just spoil it for you as well.
