Woke at 6am and fairly shocked to find heavy snowfall overnight!
Must be looking at 3 to 4ins where I am, just 19 miles from Goodwood.
Unsure whether it’s just affecting North Hampshire or the same further South?
I note the forecast is indicating heavy snow at Lavant at 0800.
Anyone know conditions now at the Circuit and whether the day’s been cancelled?

I am staying at Fil in Bosham and we have a light covering not enough to cause any problems on the road but the track may be different, I cannot see the bikes running today

There's been a dump of snow at Petersfield smile.

We'll make our way over later. I imagine the circuits covered, perhaps we'll get to walk the circuit, and mark the occasion when snow stopped play?

Would it be the first race meeting there cancelled due to snow?

Bosham is closer to the Circuit than me and that looks like a fairly light dusting.
I’m about 10 miles further north than Petersfield.
I’m not going to set off until a little later, I’d like to be sure it’s definitely going ahead.
A view from one of my windows.

Radio has said Hindhead Tunnel on A3 is blocked with 30 cars stranded and Recovery Vehicles having difficulty reaching them.
The snow sounds very localised.

I'm in Hindhead & have just woken up so that will probably explain why there are no cars going past my place. The snow depth is probably about an inch on the car but I'm surprised if the tunnel is closed. Not going to GRRC this year but it's not good news for those who are if this is the case.

Will wander up in a bit to see the score.
