FoS 2018 Dates

Yes, two thousand and eighteen. I know some like to speculate on accommodation early, and it seems the FIA wants to get things done much earlier this year. Provisional but gives you a good idea when FoS 2018 might be...

June 10 Montreal, Canada
June 16/17 Le Mans
June 24 Paul Ricard, France
July 1 Red Bull Ring, Austria
July 8 Silverstone, Great Britain
July 22 Hockenheim, Germany
July 29 Hungaroring, Hungary

I know they don't like to clash with Le Mans and won't clash with F1, so a late one on July 12-15 looks like a good bet at the moment.

That would probably clash with WEC Nurburgring, although FoS may not care.

I do recall seeing WEC drivers at FoS when I last went a few years ago.

The rest of the WEC calendar has not been announced.

The winning LM cars always attend FOS so will be a shame if this does clash.

True - I was thinking WEC N'ring as mid-July but may not be next year.

Let's hope they can avoid clashes.

Off topic but a good 2 weeks could be had by going to LM24 then a week later F1 at Ricard.

I've booked, 100% refundable until next year though so not much to lose.

Funnily enough those dates are already very popular.

when i was leaving my accommodation after FOS this year, i reserved the same room for next year,

the 13th july is looking like the most likely at this stage .
i am cautious about booking flights as i lost the price of a pair of flights last year after the date change
