Thinking about booking a table - has anyone been? Recommend it?
No mention of prices on the website, any idea what to expect?
Thanks
I found a link for you with a menu and cost for you. No mention of prices on the website, any idea what to expect?

Kind of stupid questions but how much it will take to eat around Festival. I look up at the porsche cafe menu and it's really above my budget.
Is there another place to eat or better prepared and bring your own food?
Going to FoS on shoestring budget atm
Food is event prices, think £7 for a burger, £3/4 a tray of chips, £4/5 a pint. Is there another place to eat or better prepared and bring your own food?

I go to the FoS all four days. On the Wednesday, I go to Sainburys and buy my food and water for the weekend. I will probably spend about £35's and that is food for the weekend. Plus I take a flask of hot water and tea bags for tea. But I am only live a few miles few FoS.Is there another place to eat or better prepared and bring your own food?

I'm there for the 4 days and camp close by - I make some sandwiches and take some beer in with me. ( last year Security let you take 4 cans in, not sure what the restrictions are this year, presumably the same). Have seen other folk take hot dogs in a thermos flask and dish out hot dogs that way - which I thought was a good idea.

Hot dogs in a thermos! Haven't heard of that one for a while. My mum used to do that for my school lunch back in the 80's! Just to update this thread - I had afternoon tea today at the Porsche Cafe.
Service was absolutely shocking. After getting seated, 15+ minutes went by without anyone bothering to take my order. Food eventually arrived but was average and with bits missing. Tea came a further 5 minutes later but it was so weak it was undrinkable.
It looked like a lot of people were complaining. I felt really bad for the young lady who was dealing with the complaints (Anne Marie?) as it really wasn't her fault and was doing her best to sort things.
Will definitely give the Porsche Cafe a miss next year!

It’s probably worth feeding this back to Goodwood I believe all catering is run by a company called Rhubarb and my dads experience in Kinara meant he walked away prior to getting food. Much better service at the Goodwood burger vans and independents. Service was absolutely shocking. After getting seated, 15+ minutes went by without anyone bothering to take my order. In my opinion the Porsche Cafe got it so wrong this year.
I've been using them each year for Lunch, pretty much since they started. Always a nice menu and reasonably priced vs the vans outside considering you get a seat and under cover.
After 4 hours of breathing in petrol and burning rubber - my lunch thoughts don't start with Seabass or Salmon. Bring back a menu to suit a wider audience please. And sort out the service. Monster delays and I lost count of the number of people asking for their money back.
Porsche Cafe - please learn from your mistakes.
