Thought I'd kick this off given the amount of people with cameras and as always I can see the stuff I missed from other peoples photos.....

Great morning as ever and big thanks the marshals and staff at Goodwood.

Here is my smattering...

Very enjoyable morning at Goodwood and the run down and back with Chris and his RaRa Ur..

Lot of dealers showing their stock which was a bit tiresome.

Proper old school stuff in the car park too..

Refused to photograph an Audi R8 as every other car was an R8. New Datsun GTR's, new 911's or new Aston's made up 50% of the cars... Lots of McLaren stuff too, but it all looks the same to me...

As has been said, some of the best stuff was in the car park.

And finally, I think after 2 hours I had bored him with cars...

It was a really enjoyable event despite all the downsides. Shame I arrived pretty much late as I missed some of the good stuff, but was there long enough to take around 800 pics! And here's 700+ of them!

Enjoy & see you all soon!

Some great pics and there were some stunning cars on display.

There were certainly a lot of samey cars there but some real gems to look at. I loved seeing the Lotus Carlton and the F40s. It's funny to think that you can get bored of looking at Ferraris and McLarens but when there you look at one after another they tend to blend in a bit haha.

I think the only real downside was the sheer number of people. It's been a few years since I've been to one so I suspect they've got gradually busier but it put me off somewhat.

I was thinking of booking my CLS onto the grid for the V day they're doing later in the year but by the number of people leaning on cars and kids on scooters etc. I'd rather not!

Damn, you're a machine! You must be knackered after all that hehe

Still, thanks for papping my humble jalopy (not saying much, think you must have shot every single car in the place!). I'd quote the photo but all I can ever seem to get out of Flickr is links that don't display the image, so not much point, lol

Anyone hazard a guess at the total value of everything on the track/grid?!

Those F40 LM's must be around the £3m mark surely?

Probably around £15-17m on the grid side alone during the morning, considering F40 LM, Veyron, Hyuara and P1 LM are around £8m between them. Estimated average of £0.2m for any other car parked up.

Some of mine.

Bit weird...

It's bad enough having to wait half an hour per photo for the aimless proles to stop blundering into shot without having to put up with malicious photobombing from your own offspring. Especially when they look this glekkit rolleyes

This, of course, was what I meant to say

Nothing worse than pushing your way through the throng, jostling for position, lining up THAT perfect shot... only to find you seem to have taken a lovely close-up of someone's ill-timed finger. I feel her pain irked

Never seen so many F40s in one place, I think there were ten in total though they did move about a bit so I might be wrong. Awesome sight

Strange what passes for a supercar nowadays. A super car, yes, but perhaps not a Supercar!

Massive thanks go to all the tolerant owners who let my daughter sit in their cars with her beaver. Sorry, that should be Beaver. It's her Beaver Scout mascot and the project was to take photos of him in interesting places. She just thought it was a great excuse to sit in all kinds of posh motors

Just to prove that's not the mumblings of a lunatic, here he is. Ben the Beaver. In person

Alien ant farm...

Zagato Vanquish... best rear lights ever? Or 1970s electric fire kitsch?

Finally, tiny Japanese coupe in practical family transport shocker. Not spacious. Cosy
