Festival of speed ticket help
Discussion
Hi Guys,
Firstly, this isn't a sale ad of any kind, i just need some help/advice. I have some "car guy" friends coming over from the states to come and experience Goodwood FOS and i'm also planning on taking them out for a trip over to Spa and Nurburgring. The predicament however, is that they ordered their weekend tickets with grandstand access in advance on my advice but I gone and not ordered mine fast enough
Right now i''m thinking we will only likely attend on the Saturday and Sunday. I can get Sunday ticket with grandstand access but saturday is totally sold out, along with the full weekend tickets.
As you all are car nuts and many of you are likely attending, I wondered if anyone had advice on whether there is a chance of getting some on the gates from the touts or if anyone had any leads to anything to assist?
Any help appreciated.

you can easily spend Sat. walking around the FoS - and not using a grandstand
and then spend Sunday in the grandstand - that way you enjoy all the stands / cars on display / etc. but also have a day of enjoying just watching cars running up the drive... we have never bothered with grandstand tickets - just enjoyed being on the ground and spending long days watching from lots of angles - by the time you have walked all the way up and all the way back and enjoyed the rally stage etc. you will have filled the day and be glad of a sit down on the Sunday!

Thank you for the replies guys.
What are house passes and where can i get them? I thought that was for invitees only.
Akirk - I agree. I've never bothered with grandstand passes before and had a great time but admittedly, I've only ever gone for one day in any one year. I guess I could just buy a Sunday ticket with grandstand pass from Goodwood at face value and then just wait and see if a Saturday ticket comes up with a grandstand pass and if not, I can probably get hold of a general admission ticket for the Saturday anyway and just do the static stuff Saturday and then stand on Sunday like you've suggested.

Thanks Ian. I've put a reply up on it. Fingers crossed. I had a grandstand ticket 2 years ago went to moulcombe corner grandstand on the Sunday was very good, got the same one for last year and they seemed to have built to camera tower more in the eyeline only sat there for 10 minutes and went and stood about 70 metres away trackside and it was a lot better
