Peter Saywell Goodwood Track Day Convoy

Does anyone know yet if there is going to be a supercar convoy / pre meet to the first peter saywell goodwood track day on the 25th of Feb
Hopefully not last years was a complete cluster fk, causing the circuit to be closed before lunch due to large numbers of mums and their sons. Also a quick question, what's your fascination with convoys, I've noticed that's all you ever interested in and not the actual event?

The second was more organized & less out of control & they were allowed on the parade.
I bet if there was one again, it'll be more like the second as they'll keep it private & info won't spread like wildfire, thus avoiding chaos. I for one would just drive to the meet & enjoy the action on track & chatting to many people whilst thinking how long the supposedly fashionably late will be?

I went to the first one last year & even though I did enjoy it, it was a bit too much & too chaotic. But it did add a small bit to a day that I was enjoying hugely even before they came. It was because of the supposedly famous people that joined us.

The information is in the public domain maybe even on this site. 60 cars in convoy. The second was more organized & less out of control & they were allowed on the parade.

Best to get there before 9am. No worries about parking space for me! Taking the train first class & get taken to the circuit by taxi & picked up again the end of the day.
I'm heading to the circuit for around 0845 leaving from southsea I can provide a lift if that is of any use to you although I'd only be up til lunch at the latest so unlikely to be able to provide a lift back to the station. ecsrobin said:
