I've booked tickets for FOS with a group of friends, now need to sort accomodation. We want somewhere where we can go out for a few drinks, ideally somewhere a bit lively. Is Portsmouth going to be our best bet?

Portsmouth, Southampton, Brighton, Guildford.

All depends how many days you're doing at FOS but I find after a 12 hour day of walking round FOS all I want to do is sleep!!

Anywhere in Chichester would be booked up now. Best bet is somewhere like Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth. Not far from Goodwood and with nightlife. Stay at the holiday Inn in Gunwharf and you won't need to walk far (you'd have done enough of that at the FoS).

Thanks. That will help narrow my search down a bit.

We've ended up in Southampton - anything in Portsmouth was looking really expensive. Glad I didn't leave it any later to book!

Southampton Ian a good night out. I'd reccomend the dancing man.
