Best dressed lady - farce!

Just seen the squawking presenter show the fashion award for the day on the big screen. Whatever happened to awarding the prize to the best 'in period' effort? 3rd was an Edwardian outfit and the winner was a 'cowgirl'. I thought 'fancy dress' was being discouraged!

I watched that on the live feed and did wonder how on earth a 'cowgirl' was relevant to the event. Nice ladies I'm sure but there were others in outfits much more appropriate to the spirit of period dress.

Actually although she was younger than me( not hard!) there was no buoyancy imparted to my marine craft!
