Goodwood Revival - Parking - Suitable for Cayman?
Discussion
Hi All,
Will be going to the Goodwood Revival on Sunday. Info says that parking is grass and may not be suitable for low slung cars.
I have a Porsche Cayman S with PASM so 10mm lower than standard. Is this too low for the grass parking? How do others get on with parking Caymans / other low slung cars?
Cheers,
Geoff

Thanks for the welcome Lynchie999.
Don't get much free time so generally lurk on this forum. Wife says I spent too much time on the PC as it is! :-)

Gordon Murray manages to park his McLaren F1 prototype in the field so you should have no issues. Enjoy the event. Will be going to the Goodwood Revival on Sunday. Info says that parking is grass and may not be suitable for low slung cars.

my only comment would be to be careful going on/off the metal roadways if there are any - they can be quite high..
And badly put down.I drove off the end of one very slowly and cracked 2 exhaust manifolds on my E type. Goodwood didn't have the manners to reply to my email about it.
It just so happens that on "the wet one" I left the car park behind, of all things, a 918 Spyder (German registered). He had a wee bit too much power for the conditions - at one point he was sideways (no exaggeration) although he had 2 wheels on mud, and 2 on grass, which didn't help.
