FoS Memorable moments

Really simple one for me.
Stood between two strangers in the paddock this morning leaning on the rails behind the Nascar/BTCC cars.
Something fired up behind us, and shortly after the smell of Castrol R wafted over.
All three of us just looked up, breathed in deep with a massive smile on our faces, real magic moment!

Feeling physically sick because of the row coming from one of the Honda classic race cars. Up to then I didn't realise noise could do that to you.
My missus embarrassing herself when she bumped into Anthony Edwards in the paddock.
My 1st FOS. Walked through the gate and the first thing I saw was Johnny Herbert chatting to Sterling Moss behind the start line. I felt like a child on Christmas morning.
Being about 2 feet from a Jordan when they started it up and being able to feel it on my chest and beneath my feet.

Crossing the track with my sister in a wheelchair this afternoon, just after Ken Block and the rest of his batch had gone through - and not being able to resist doing a quick doughnut with her chair on the spot in front of Goodwood house - to which we received an unexpected round of applause from the crowd that were still in the grandstands. There's a million one-of-a-kind festival moments, but that one stood out to me today.
Ha Ha Ha, I saw that, you came running out with her and did a nice pirouette, i did giggle to my self. I once had a chat with Nick Mason who was at the time sat on the front wheel of one of his cars to stop it rolling down the hill. This was back when the paddock was grass and organised chaos.
Shouting at Olivier Panis that he had left a hammer under the wheel of his car and that's why it wouldn't move.
Seeing Murray Walker wandering about minding his own business and not being molested by anyone. Ah the old old days.

Feeling the pain from the drag car starting its run right in front of me, even when I had my fingers I'm my ears.
It was the eye-watering fumes that really topped it off.. good fun tho'.I once was given a ticket to an Iron Maiden Concert and standing next to the sound stack was peaceful in comparison; but a lot less tuneful ;-D
