Just a gentle suggestion chaps. The email robot appears to be sending out the advance notice to members in "dribs and drabs" so this public thread will have been up well before many of our fellow members have seen theirs. It might be worth thinking about removing the thread for a day or two to give members a chance?

I'm guessing with accommodation but as each year more and more members attend compared to non members I don't see it as being much of a big deal. If I was a betting man I would have put money on that weekend anyway.

Yes - that's what I meant. You're right it's not a big deal - as I said it was just a thought.

I secured my accommodation yesterday it's very close to the circuit and always in demand. Interestingly I still haven't received the email direct from GRRC.

My thought was the same. Putting the information on a public forum after first securing your own accommodation might be perceived as a touch invidious.

But yes, as it happens probably no big deal.

Or perhaps the intention of my post was simply to let people know the date so they could arrange their accommodation?

...and might have appreciated the chance to read and act on the email before the information was published on a public forum (notwithstanding the fact that the information was incorrect!!)

I did not get my email as yet?

this was news to me - checked all mail including junk, and didn't recieve any advance notice on the 26th

However, just been on my profile on the GRRC/Goodwood/ticketing website (not entireley sure where i was..), and noticed I had not checked the small 'latest email updates' box at the bottom of the page when i originally entered my details. This probably explains why I, and perhaps also others, didn't know this had gone out.

Accomodation now booked... at a price. Yikes.
