Bailey Sprint saturday
Discussion
I've been to quite a few of the sprints down there and they all tend to be brilliant - normally some "special" cars taking part which get driven to win...
Its free and the sun is going to be out, you can normally wander round the garages to get a closer look and smell - suns out, bacon roll - not much more perfect a reason to head down and ogle for a few hours. I've managed to convince Mrs Big to let me head down myself (assuming she is happy with the lunch I'm having to bribe her with!).
Ill be there in the E36 M3.

Popped down for a couple of hours in the morning with my son and managed to get a few photos in between getting him and ice cream and having a picnic lunch.

What a great day out. My first ever sprint and the Elise didn't let me down. Each run I took time off, 3 seconds on my first timed run and ended up at 97.82. 4 laps, but so much better than any track day with that level of competition between other drivers, but more so against yourself.

I had a great time on Saturday and would like to thank the BHMC for organising a great event and making me feel welcome. I was in the Vauxhall Nova. It was the first time this car has done any competition since 2002. It was built in the late 1990's by my Dad who passed away last year so to get it out on track with some "numbers" on it felt great. It was my first drive at Goodwood and only my 2nd time in the car so a big learning curve round this awesome circuit!

Really felt for the poor person who found the wall with their cobra replica, looked like a cracking car but royally fooked after the accident truly gutting to see so much hard work ruined and will really make me think twice before taking my car on the track (if it ever gets finished), I would imagine probably not insured either...
