Anyone recommend this grand stand?

It is the most expensive and closest to the other stuff going on.

I don't know if you can see a big screen from Woodcote, like many of the other grand stands - anyone know?

Thanks

The problem with any grandstand at the Revival is that you miss out on seeing the air displays properly. I prefer the freedom to be able to wander about.

I've sat in the Woodcote grandstand at the Revival. As I recall there is some visibility of one of the large display screens but you need to be sitting towards then end which is closest to the chicane. You should get a reasonable view of the end of the Lavant straight, Woodcote bend, and the chicane.

It's good for seeing cars come up the straight and then all the wonderful cornering and outbraking antics that go on at Woodcote. As you say, it is also close to other stuff in that area.

Your sight of the big screen will depend on where you are in the stand.

Have fun, it's such a fabulous event. smile

That's quite easily solved by walking out of the stand and watching the aircraft from an open place then returning for the racing. wink

To answer the question, Woodcote would probably be my 2nd choice after Chicane however only you will know if you need a seat. We tend to walk round on Friday and Saturday morning so by the afternoon and on Sunday it's nice to be able to rest the feet! hehe

I think it's the best stand available. There's always plenty of action. St Mary's isn't bad either. But the point about missing the aircraft is certainly true.

I would echo this. I sit in Woodcote every year and it never disappoints.
