Hi guys, I just had a trip to Goodwood at the #74 Members Meeting. To summarise it : It was AMAZING! .

I would recommend it to every petrol-head out there to go at least once.

Here is my experience shot in POV from a head mount. I hope you enjoy. Let me know about any suggestions.

I gave up after the first minute, too much of a head ache to watch and listen to.

What did you find that could be done better. I am new to filming so any criticism is good feedback for me! Thanks!

Well done , after a couple of minutes of of feeling a bit seasick all was good , particularly as you pretty well walked the same route as my wife and I,also at the same time !

We were parked up about 6 rows behind the TVR that is in your first few frames and then watched the same races as you and did the same walk through the paddock . We left before the end of the last race to get back to London for the Rugby so it was great to see the Fireworks and evening entertainment that we had to miss !

That was interesting! Never having made it to any of the MM evening events due to being frozen stiff, it was good to see, thanks!

@ Rower - I am sorry to hear that you had to leave. I must say that the evening party was the best part of the whole event in my opinion. Glad you enjoyed my video. Thanks. smile

For walking footage, a gimbal could change your footage beyond belief. Google something like the Zyihun Rider-M, although you'll look really daft wearing it on your head smile

Totally agree with the above comment - a Gimbal would transform this and I'd strongly recommend going for a pole mount as it allows you to flex the angle of the shots a lot more. They are a reasonably expensive addition but absolutely change the way your footage looks - a great example is here:

This is filmed with a standard GoPro4 Hero using a 3 way gimbal on a pole. It gives you a great example of how the gimbal works in practice and smooths out the lumps and bumps (think how bumpy this would be skiing with a rigid camera mount).

Great footage though, thanks for sharing.

That's the attraction for me.

Same great racing, far less crowding but a bit colder.

I went to last years MM.

Please people, don't all start walking round the Revival and the Members Meeting with a gimpball strapped to you head. It's the last thing we need! weeping
