Saywell track day
Discussion
Going to the circuit on Saturday to have a look at what turn up this time. Always some great metal there.
How do I go about passenger laps? Seen people been taken out before and would love to been taken round in something exotic.
Is it a donation to charity? Where do I do this?
Cheers

Glorious sunny weather down at Goodwood for this and plenty of nice cars on show (LaFerrari, 918, Zonda etc).

Was another brilliant day and we raised near £7000 so thank you to all who came! I have to say, the highlight of my day was wandering around Peters garage that morning in awe of the new La Ferrari.
All morning I had a spare seat but the MINI surprised a few and by the afternoon I was fully booked! I'm always happy to take whoever out on track. The dates for next year are...12th March, 30th July and 1st October.

Are these sponsored by Saywell International - the aircraft parts people?
I was with a couple of that companies directors on Saturday @ Goodwood for a Harwoods day - the Saywell boys had the Porsche 918 Spyder and a Bentley GT3RS going well on the track.
Thanks to Harwoods for a great day - as well as stretching the legs of my GTR on track, I also had the Aston Vanquish S and a Bentley Sport on track as well as a Jag F Type R on the road...and no silly restrictions on any of them aside from don't crash it!
A great day out at a fantastic track!

Not sponsored. Peter Saywell the owner books the track out for his collection of cars then offers other people to pay to drive there cars. And all money then goes to a chosen charity. Peter is very close to the local community. 3 Times a year he hires out the track for Charity Events through his company. It is invitation only to drive but all drivers pay, myself included, with the knowledge that members of the public have the opportunity to donate to the chosen charity and get a passenger ride in return.
With so many exotics on offer the favourites are quickly 'booked' up but the mornings are quieter should you ever want to pop down!
