I arrive via the road past the Kennels from Singleton. Do the GRRC members still have parking in the field to the right just before getting to the roundabout ? I remember the field was some name starting with V.

On the site plan the field is marked for Chauffeur Holding and Public Taxi Drop off.

If not, that seems to leave only Car Park C since Car Park B is marked as reserved.

As you pass the kennels, then the entrance to the House, the GRRC parking is next field on the left. Enter the car park and then quite quickly you'll see the signs to the GRRC parking area.

Thanks for that.

Out of interest, when did they stop using the field on the right for GRRC members?

Is this different to the "Forward Parking" sticker that I have?

Yes. I'm not exactly sure in what way it is different but you can have forward parking by buying it when you buy your entry ticket and GRRC you have to join for the year at (IIRC) significant expense!

Just make sure your pass is in the windscreen and hope the marshals send you to the right place!

Cheers. Weather forecast makes me inclined to take the Discovery rather than the 911. No issues today I presume?

We were down yesterday and today and we parked in the forward parking area. Along with a lot of other members which was the car park by the main entrance which meant a two minute walk to get in
We had a very enjoyable time

We never ended up at the Members Parking due to the parking staff directing us the wrong way despite us pointing at the badge on our windcsreen, when asked where it was they said we dont know its our first day!!!
Also people were sent in all the wrong directions on the way out , so we just went the way we have always been
Its not difficult to brief the staff before they go out. Come on SEP Events its not rocket science

One of my complaints about Goodwood has always been the uselessness of the car park staff, I guess they're minimum wage temps so you can't blame them, the fault is with the management, but it wouldn't be difficult to give them all a map showing which car parks and badges are which and give them 10 minutes training.

Exactly well put, I certainly dont blame the guys on the ground it is the management of SEP Events

I had forward parking, and nobody seemed to have a clue. Just stuck me in the middle of Car Park A.

I was only 5 mins walk from the car with no queues so not overly bothered.
